It can be changed by you in-house following basic training.  Carver is a communication tool based on the very successful Showcase software now used by over 1200 Britnett clients in the UK.  Carver combines the simplicity of your office PC with the power and impact of the Internet creating a fully interactive living and breathing Business Website.  Carver is a fast, reliable, cost-effective delivery mechanism, which can easily be integrated into any marketing initiative or campaign. Britnett-Carver can work stand alone as a fully independent business website or published next to your original website and the two linked together.

Content Pages
These are basic pages on your site that simply contain content – information about your company. For example the first page a visitor lands on will probably be the Index/Home page. This page will contain information about your company and what you do. Other content pages can be About Us, FAQ, Directions, Special Offers.

Category Pages
Whether your company website is selling on-line, publishing information or using your site for a brochure it helps your site visitors when the information is split into categories. A category page will introduce the section with text then will list below the pages a visitor can click to read more information on the Listing pages. Each listing page listed on this section will have a thumbnail image as required and a small amount of text to explain what the visitor will see when clicked Listing Pages.

Listings Pages
On these pages you add all the description of your product or service with images. Visitors will have options to contact you, email a friend or if you are using the Cart feature your visitors can click to buy.

*Once You Have Ordered The Carver Site the Britnett Authorised Independent Agent will build your website for you as requested.  To help achieve your Content Text And Images the AIA will provide you with a TO DO list asking for you to provide The Content Text And Images.

The Carver business website meets the Compliance to standards and guidelines including WCAG 1.0, W3C and the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).

Price Lists - If you publish your price list now you can publish on your site.  This allows easy changes and can save the costs associated with posting to your clients etc

100-Listings pages –  Quick and simple to create, delete, update content.  List each listings page in the relevant category with text content, images, a 'Contact' button and a 'Email a Friend' button.

Web Pages - You can create, edit, re-name and delete. Easy to do any time. 

Image Library – Up-load and delete Images – quick as a click. The Images stay in the server until you ask for them to show on your website.

Image Auto Re-size - allows you to make all your site images uniform width with one click.  No off-line image editing required.

Master Template – Change Width of Main Content Section, add links and add standard features like Search and Email capture.

Navigation Links – edit, add and set to appear anywhere in the site and link to any page on the Internet or within your Britnett-Carver site.

Header and footer panels – Can be added and removed to include images and logos.

Interactive Features Settings – Include product search, email capture, contact and shopping cart.

Site statistics - Can be viewed from control panel for each individual page.

Product Listing Pages – You can add, delete and change order of all your product/information pages. Up to 100 pages are included as standard.  Expandable.

User Preferences – Include email address, date stamp format and switch on HTML Textarea Editor.

Shopping Cart - Updated to ask for security number on credit card.  Shipping charges can be set, show full retail and discounted prices and an easy order process order system.

Britnett-Carver – Training and Set Up
Full on-site training is provided in the use and operation of your website provided by a Britnett Authorised Independent Agent (Takes only 2 Hours).

Your site will be set up and edited by your local Britnett Authorised Independent Agent.  Prices depend on the initial work needed.  Please contact your local Agent for a price list.

One-month hands-on support is included with additional training as required.  The first month with your business website is important so your Agent is locally available to work with you.

Britnett Carver Hosting and Service-To Include:

Web Space Rental - year round site back up.

Host Site Upkeep And Maintenance - Each month all Britnett-Carver sites are scanned for faults.  In most cases our software automatically fixes errors.  If not and you see an error on your site simply report to your Agent and he/she will arrange a fix.

Continuous E-Mail Support - Simply email Support@britnett.co.uk with any questions.

Local Independent Authorised Agent Office Hours Support and Service - Contact your local Authorised Agent to request any changes needed.
